STATEMENT: Legislation banning the sale of single-use plastic water bottles was introduced in the City Council over a year ago, it has not been passed. Yesterday Hudson River Park banned single-use plastic water bottles from their park because it is the right thing to do.  The time is now to pass Intro 0846-2018 and ban the sale of single-use plastic water bottles in all New York City parks.
